It’s a new year and a good time to start with new things. Over the years I have learned that life is too short, so you need to spend it with people who make you laugh and make you feel loved. Being happy is a serious business, it’s more than just a state of mind as many researcher would say. Happiness is the greatest life blessing, when you are happy every other thing your life fall in place. In this new year, finding true happiness with self would be a good place to start. Happiness lengthens our lives, an emerging research shows that being happier doesn’t just make you feel better — it actually brings a host of potential health benefits, like it improves severe long-term health conditions, relieves stress and much more.
How To Find True Happiness
Mother Teresa once said “true peace begins with a smile”, which I find to be true, inner peace is real freedom and it leads to true happiness. However, the journey toward inner peace begins with the most overlooked treasure of all, and that is you. It all begins with you.
Forgiveness is not something you do for the other person, forgiveness is something you do for yourself, therefore, it will benefit you to forgive people even when they don’t apologise and not because they you are stupid or they deserve it but because you value your peace.
A positive mind is the first step to happiness. Life has its ups and downs but they come and go because nothing is meant to be permanent. Having a positive mental attitude, it takes choices and if you choose to remain positive, then the happier you will become. Remember that continually focusing on the negative can hinder the ability to find the positive and live a happy life.
You don’t need to conduct a major life overhaul to be happy in 2019. Small changes to your daily routine can go a long way. Every life experience holds a blessing, lesson, or reason to celebrate. The goal is to find it but don’t lose yourself in the process. The objective of all this is to have a happy life.
